I have always had big emotions, ever since I was a kid. For the longest time I was overwhelmed by them, teased for showing them, told they made me weak, and other things that made me ashamed of them. I tucked them away and hid them. I tried to get rid of them. I ignored them. I drowned them out only to have them resurface in ways ugly and uncontrollable.

This piece is about me embracing my emotions and putting them on display for the world to see, my heart is a peculiar creature. I love it.
